Effective November 15, the hill between 400  and 434 East on  River Heights Boulevard will close for the winter season.

 

Parking Restrictions -No parking will be allowed of vehicles, trailers, or any other obstructions on the street beginning Nov. 15 through Mar 15. between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

As a courtesy to your neighbors and others, please keep the sidewalks around your home free

of snow and ice.

CVTD bus system
Route 11 stops at the City Building each hour from 6:48 a.m. to 8:48 p.m. weekdays and 9:48 to 5:48 on Saturdays. Please don't park in the red zone near the Bus Stop.

 

City Council meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Planning Commission meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public. Agendas are posted on this site or in the glass case outside the City Office.

CHANGES TO THE CITY CODE OF RIVER HEIGHTS CITY, UTAH
Adopted November 24, 2009
 
The River Heights City Planning Commission recommended to the City Council that the following changes be made to the City Code of River Heights City, Utah on November 17, 2009.
 
1.      10-11-2: AREA REGULATIONS: A. Table 2, Lot Setbacks Accessory Uses (in feet): After Side yard, add “****.” Insert the following at the end of table Table 2: “**** If the accessory building is located within 10 feet behind the front setback, the principle use setbacks will apply.”
 
2.      10-17-2: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT PROCEDURE:B.2.: replace “fourteen (14)” with “ten (10)” in two places.
 
3.      Change 5-2-3: LICENSING: A.1.: “. . . effective for one year until March 1 of the following year . . .”
 
4.      In section 5-3-3:A.: LICENSING, re-designate paragraphs 3. and 4. to 4. and 5. Add paragraph “3. The license application, proof of rabies vaccination and fees will be due March 1st and delinquent March 2nd of each year. Late application will be charged a $10 late fee per month for every month of delinquency. If dogs are not licensed, their owners will be in violation of the law and issued a citation.”
