Route 11 stops at the City Building each hour from 6:48 a.m. to 8:48 p.m. weekdays and 9:48 to 5:48 on Saturdays. Please don't park in the red zone near the Bus Stop.

 

City Council meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Planning Commission meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public. Agendas are posted on this site or in the glass case outside the City Office.

City Zoning Ordinance

 

The River Heights City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 7:15 to discuss changes to the City Zoning Ordinance.  Changes will include, but are not limited to:  the addition of a mixed-use ordinance, parking ordinance, and landscaping ordinance.  The hearing will be held in the River Heights City Building located at 520 S 500 E, River Heights.  Documents showing additions and changes can be viewed at the City Office Mon – Fri between 10 am and 2 pm at the same location.  Written comment can be addressed to Commissioner Lorin Zollinger up until noon on the date of the meeting.

The River Heights City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss an ordinance to vacate 16 feet of the City’s 800 South Right-of-Way.  The hearing will be held at 520 S 500 E, River Heights.  Written comment will be accepted up until noon on the date of the meeting.

Conditional Use Hearing

The River Heights City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 4, 1010 at 7:05 p.m. to discuss a conditional use permit request from Mark Malmstrom to have a business on his property at 749 South 600 East in River Heights.  The hearing will be held at the city building, located at 520 S 500 E.  Written comment can be addressed to Commissioner Lorin Zollinger and will be accepted up until noon on the date of the meeting.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

 

PROPOSAL will be received by the City of River Heights, at River Heights City offices, 520 South 500 East, River Heights Utah 84321, until 1:00 P.M. (MST) ON FEBRUARY 19, 2009, to:

 

FURNISH, DELIVER and INSTALL ONE (1) 400KW STANDBY DIESEL GENERATOR

WITH ENCLOSURE, FUEL TANK, CONCRETE PAD, and AUTO TRANSFER SWITCH

 

Proposal documents may be obtained from the City offices.

 

This project is funded in whole by the City of River Heights. The successful awardees shall be responsible for the compliance with all current County, State and Federal laws, rules and regulations,

 

Minority, disadvantaged and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
