Effective November 15, the hill between 400  and 434 East on  River Heights Boulevard will close for the winter season.

 

Parking Restrictions -No parking will be allowed of vehicles, trailers, or any other obstructions on the street beginning Nov. 15 through Mar 15. between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

 

Sidewalks

As a courtesy to your neighbors and others, please keep the sidewalks around your home free

of snow and ice.

CVTD bus system
Route 11 stops at the City Building each hour from 6:48 a.m. to 8:48 p.m. weekdays and 9:48 to 5:48 on Saturdays. Please don't park in the red zone near the Bus Stop.

 

City Council meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Planning Commission meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public. Agendas are posted on this site or in the glass case outside the City Office.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The River Heights City Lions Club will hold their 59th annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13, 2010 for children ages 2-12. Starting time will be at 9:00 a.m.  Meet between 400 and 500 South on 500 East.

Surviving Against All Odds

Jim Phillips, of Orem, a specialist on the subject of emergency preparedness, will speak on the emotions of dealing with a natural disaster and determining within ourselves to survive no matter what. Everyone is invited.  It will be held on March 20 at 6:00 p.m. at BATC, East Room 840, 1301 N 600 W in Logan.  The cost is $5 per person.

Mock Disaster

All River Heights Residents:  A Mock Disaster is planned for Saturday, March 27.  The event will start with a Cache County Sheriff’s officer driving through River Heights at 8:30 a.m. sounding the high/low siren.  Residents will be asked to display their red/green disaster notification flags.  Block captains will be asked to check and report on their assigned families.


Please locate your flag.  If you don’t have one please contact your Block Captain or Area Emergency Specialist who are:  Area 1 - Kathryn Hadfield, Area 2 - Ray Hunsaker, Area 3 - Noel Cooley, and Area 4 - Lynn Hulse.  If you don’t know which area you are in, please call Kathryn Hadfield at 753-2745.
